I’m Back…..I Promise!

Hello to all my lovebugs out there! It has been far too long!

School and life events had created various road blocks, but I promise that I am back for good! So how about we just start over, ok? Ok.

• I am Kayla and I’m an alcoholic I am a college Senior! (Don’t mean to offend anyone with the alcohol joke…..just always wanted to say that…..I’m so awkward)
• I am set to graduate in April of 2016!
• I am a Psychology Major with a Minor in Mass Communications (and will start my certificate in Social Media Marketing in January….more on that later!)
• I have been suffering with anxiety for a little over a year now (well officially diagnosed……another post topic to come)
• I have been a part of The WOLF Internet since I was a mere Freshie and now I am the Social Media Director for almost three years now!
• I have an amazing boyfriend named Gabriel (I just call him Gabe or Babe…or even Stupid when we love each other sooooo much!) We have been together for 8 months so far with your normal relationship bumps in the road and even some that aren’t normal (that’s another post for another day…or probably after I write this).
• I really love exclamation points!!

So that is just a VERY brief grouping of words to describe life since the last time I’ve been on last. I promise I’ll actually stick to my once-a-week posting 🙂

Lovely Sunday……..except for all the Screaming Machines…..

Happy Sunday, love bugs!

I hope everyone has a great day. Mine was the usual Sunday: Dragging my non-existent butt out of my small but comfy dorm bed and trying to be ready by the time my parentals make it down to C-town (hint: it never happens)

Being November, I’m in the state of mind most college kids are in: When can I drink myself into oblivion? When can I quit and work at Disney World? When does Thanksgiving and Christmas Break get here?!! I literally feel like a walking zombie and I’m pretty sure my parents can tell! (sorry dudes :P)

But you can tell when you need to do everything in your power to leave a certain area (college) for a bit & go to the Promised Land (home sweet home!)

• The natives start to become even more annoying than you thought possible.
• You complain like a 4 year old that you “just want your mommy” and you “wanna go home!!”
• You wanna kill your co-workers/classmates
• Even cute kids become incredibly annoying (which I didn’t even know that was possible)

For example, apparently all children in Carroll Co. decided to be extremely cute and annoying at the same today at all establishments I graced my presence with.

Kroger: WAHHHHHH! (I swear they came by the millions today)

IHOP: MOMMY!!!! (seriously, they followed us)

After today, I had a pounding headache and sudden urge to crawl into fetal position.

Moral of the Story: I want to go home so bad! See my friends; actually be able to cook something more than Easy Mac and bake my little heart out; sleep in a bed that was designed for normal human beings. Sounds lovely right?

So fair warning to the masses: I will be whining until at least Thanksgiving (then after about Finals Week…. ugh). Hopefully y’all will stick with me through the holidays!

In the meantime, I need to actually work on homework and stuff for work! So hopefully I won’t get too distracted my basically everything in the world…….

My First Time…..

Hello people of the blogging universe!!! (and those just visiting)

I’m so excited about finally starting this blog! I’ve been meaning to ever since the school year started!

Ok, well I guess a little introduction is in order.

My name is Kayla, I’m born and raised in Georgia, and I’m in my 3rd year of college! I’m currently a Psychology major at the University of West Georgia!

These are a few of my favorite things……

• PUPPIES!!!!– As both of us begin this journey of getting to know each other better, you will see that I have a huge love/love relationship with most animals, especially dogs! Of what I would do to have a puppy in my dorm room….
• Cute Kids!!– I love children, that makes sense considering I want to be a School Counselor! 
• My family– Although my family have had our ups and down, they are my rock and I honestly don’t know what I would do without them!
• Baking!!– I am so obsessed with baking anything and everything! I spoil my friends with sugary delights!! (they know they love it) My wish for my 21st Birthday is not to get wasty pants (ok, maybe a little…..), but a Navy or Mint Green Kitchen-Aid Artisan Stand Mixer (hint hint, Mother…..)
• My 2nd Family– I absolutely LOVE my job, which is being the Social Media Specialist at my on-campus Internet College Radio station! I worked my way to the position I’m at currently and I don’t wanna give it up! I couldn’t dream of not working with my favorite people everyday!

So you’re probably wondering “Why in the world is this crazy lady starting a blog?! And where can I get some of her amazeball homemade cinnamon rolls?! Well the reason I’m making this is to just share my crazy, hectic, beautiful mess of a life with everyone who wants to know!

I’m pretty much an open book, so feel free to leave a comment or whatever you like! Well,time to stop procrastinating on my homework….haha, I crack myself up…….
